The same Q2 2025 presentation estimated 42.4 million Xiaomi global smartphone shipments, up 0.2% year over year. In mainland China, premium smartphones priced at or above RMB3,000 represented 27.6% of Xiaomi units sold, up 5.5 percentage points from Q2 2024.
These Canalys/Omdia figures are shipment estimates, not retail sell-through, installed base or revenue share. The mainland-China units-sold series also differs from the global shipment series, so the measures should not be combined.
Xiaomi IoT, App and Connected-Device Data
Xiaomi’s connected-device figures describe platform scale, while MAU describes activity. Connected IoT-device counts exclude smartphones, tablets and laptops where stated, and they are not counts of unique users.
At December 31, 2024, Xiaomi reported 904.6 million connected IoT devices on its global AIoT platform. At June 30, 2024, the comparable count was 822.2 million, up 25.6% year over year.

IoT and lifestyle products generated RMB32.3 billion in Q1 2025 revenue, up 58.7% year over year. In Q2 2025, smart large-home-appliance revenue increased 66.2% year over year, although the cited presentation did not provide an absolute revenue figure.
The Q2 2025 appliance shipment figures use lower-bound wording:
- Air-conditioner shipments exceeded 5.4 million units and increased more than 60% year over year.
- Refrigerator shipments exceeded 790,000 units and increased more than 25% year over year.

| Q2 2025 product | Shipment or ranking result | Geography |
|---|---|---|
| Tablets | 3.1 million units; 7.8% share; 42.3% YoY growth | Global estimate |
| Tablets | No. 5 globally; No. 3 | Global and mainland China |
| Wearable bands | No. 1 globally; No. 2 | Global and mainland China |
| TWS earbuds | No. 2 globally; No. 1 | Global and mainland China |
The tablet, wearable and earbud rankings and tablet shipment share are Canalys/Omdia estimates. Wearable bands include basic bands, basic watches and smartwatches, so the category is broader than smartwatches alone.
Xiaomi EV and New-Initiative Growth
Xiaomi delivered 136,854 smart EVs in 2024. Deliveries reached 81,302 vehicles in Q2 2025, up 197.7% year over year, compared with 27,307 in Q2 2024.
As of June 30, 2025, Xiaomi had 335 EV sales centers covering 92 mainland-China cities. The company added 100 net EV sales centers quarter over quarter; the network definition includes delivery, sales/service and Xiaomi stores.
The Xiaomi YU7 accumulated 240,000 locked-in orders within 18 hours of its June 2025 China launch. Orders are not deliveries and may not equal completed purchases.
Smart EV, AI and other new initiatives revenue was RMB18.6 billion in Q1 2025, up 11.5% quarter over quarter under the updated segment definition. This definition includes smart EV, AI and other new initiatives, so it is not directly interchangeable with the 2024 smart-EV segment figure.

The 2024 annual report notes the smartphone-margin comparison and attributes part of the change to key-component prices. Segment margins should therefore be read as annual business measures, not as the margin on an individual product.
By the end of 2024, Xiaomi reported achieving 95.94% of its 2022–2026 target to recycle 38,000 tons of electronic waste. This is progress against a company target and does not state independently audited recycling mass in the cited claim.
Xiaomi’s sustainability materials reported more than 2,000 product types, with the source page showing 2021 as the reporting year; this is a product-count scope, not a sales count. The same disclosure states that more than 100 million smart devices used Xiaomi fast-charging technologies in 2022, a company sustainability claim that should not be treated as measured global adoption of all fast charging.
